So I got inspired to work on a nsfw piece by the newest Immortal Thor comic because the size difference between Loki and Thor in it is just chefs kiss.
But as I was finishing up I wanted to compare the last big drawing (dated oct 22) I was proud of to this one and honestly… it seemed like I’d gotten no better at all! I was so discouraged. I think some of my details may have even suffered. The main differences are that I’m now using a pressure sensitive stylus, tablet, AND different drawing app ( procreate now, ibis then). Upon thinking more I remembered that my other drawing took several days while I only worked on the recent one for two days so I decided to look at my tracked time and there was the improvement!
My older drawing took nearly 4x as long! For similar results! (3hrs vs 11hrs) So with that in mind I felt a bit better and decided to upload after all ☺️. This is more talking than I normally do so sorry if it’s annoying but it’s nice to put my thoughts down somewhere ~
